The variety belongs to leaf or semi-heading types. The plant is characterized by an intense bronze or cherry-red color; the leaves are relatively thick and firm.
When grown as baby leaf, the crop can be harvested 28 days after sowing when the plants reach a height of 12–15 cm. The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew and is suitable for cultivation in open field, protected cultivation, or in home conditions.
