The variety is intended for cultivation in open field and is suitable both for sale on the fresh market as whole heads and for processing. The plant forms dense heads with well-developed internal leaf layers. The variety is oriented toward the transition period to the spring season.
The name Speedway is also used by other producers for different types of lettuce (butterhead lettuce) and for other vegetable crops, such as cucumbers; therefore, when choosing seeds, it is necessary to consider the Latin name of the crop and the producer.
