The variety belongs to the mini-romaine category. Plants form upright elongated heads characterized by tightly packed flat ribs. There is no vegetation inside the head. The variety is distinguished by slow growth, late closure, and head filling.
Plants demonstrate resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races 16–37EU) and aphids (Nasonovia ribisnigri). The upright habit facilitates the growing process, and the presence of a wide harvest window allows the variety to be combined with other hybrids in the harvesting cycle.
