The variety forms thick leaves with a crisp texture, possessing high density and volume, which ensures an attractive appearance during packaging and resistance to mechanical damage during transport. In some publications, it is classified as a green Batavia type.
The plant has high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (races 29–41EU), Fusarium wilt (races 1 and 4), Fusarium wilt, and mirafiori lettuce virus (Tomato bushy stunt virus). It also has intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (race 1).
The variety is intended for cultivation in open field conditions and is suitable both for sale in fresh form and for industrial processing. The produce is characterized by a long shelf life after harvest.
