Variety description

10 August 2026

The hybrid forms an upright leaf rosette up to 30 cm in height. The leaves are large, elliptical in shape, dark green in color, have a heavily waved serrated edge, slight blistering, and a crunchy juicy texture. The maturation period is 2–3 days shorter than that of the classic Frillice variety.

The plant has high resistance to downy mildew (races 1–23, 25, 31, 32) and intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus. It is characterized by tolerance to leaf tip burn and bolting, and is capable of maintaining marketability in the field for up to two weeks after maturation.

The hybrid is intended for year-round cultivation in open field, greenhouses, and hydroponic systems, including 'live-leaf' technology. The recommended planting density is about 80,000 plants per hectare. The upright shape of the rosette provides convenience during harvesting and packaging of products.
