The plant is compact, forming a dense head with a well-closed base. The leaves have an "oak-leaf" structure type, and the color is described as cherry-red.
The variety possesses resistance to bolting, which allows it to be grown throughout the entire year. It is intended for the segment of produce that has undergone primary processing, washing, and cutting.
The variety has a high level of resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races 16–32, 34, 36 and aphids (Nasonovia ribisnigri) biotype 0. Intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV) is claimed.
