Variety description

The plant is compact, forming small semi-open heads with unique spoon-shaped leaves. Sturdy leaf petioles facilitate mechanized harvesting and packaging, and also prevent product breakage.
The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae), necrosis, bolting, and tipburn. The leaves are sweet in taste, have good keeping quality, and are used fresh, in sandwiches, or as a base for appetizers.
