The variety belongs to the "cos" (Romaine lettuce) type and is intended for cultivation in open field conditions. The plant is characterized by a very late onset of bolting under long-day conditions.
The seeds of the variety are white. The leaves lack anthocyanin coloration. Resistance to downy mildew Bremia lactucae (isolate Bl:16) has been recorded.
