The variety forms an upright, elongated head with good closure, capable of filling in both cold and hot conditions. The leaves have flat ribs, which prevents cracking and simplifies harvesting.
The plant has high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae HR: 29–35, 37, 38, 40, 41 EU) and the aphid Nasonovia ribisnigri (Nr:0), as well as intermediate resistance (IR) to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lactucae, races 1, 4).
