Volumia RZ is a vigorous butterhead lettuce variety that forms large heads. It is characterized by slow head filling, which allows for an extended harvest period, and also forms a healthy rosette base and possesses resistance to tipburn.
The plant has high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:29–37, 40, 41EU). The variety is suitable for cultivation in soil and hydroponic greenhouse systems, especially under low-light conditions in late autumn, winter, and early spring at a planting density of 13–16 plants per 1 m².
