The variety was obtained by crossing the «Red Fire» variety and a Korean red-leaf lettuce. The plant is mid-season, the period from emergence to harvest maturity is 50–55 days.
The plant forms a loose head with a diameter of 30–35 cm. Leaves are large, blistered, with a wavy margin, red-burgundy in color with a sheen and a light green base. The leaf texture is flexible, oily; the taste is mild.
The variety possesses high resistance to stress conditions, including heat, and resistance to bolting, during which the head does not flower for up to 2 months. Also, overall high disease resistance is noted.
