The variety is open-pollinated and was developed based on the Grand Rapids variety. The plants are upright, productive, and uniform, reaching a height of about 25 cm. The large leaves have a blistered texture and fringed edges.
The maturity period is from 28 to 50 days. The variety is suitable for cultivation in the open field, greenhouses, and hydroponic systems. It possesses resistance to bolting and leaf tip burn and is often used in scientific research as a reference sample.
