Variety description

The variety forms regular-shaped heads with a dense base and high uniformity. The leaves have a bright green color, a tender crunchy texture, and a mild sweet taste. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor and a period from transplanting to harvest of 45 to 60 days.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 16–29, 32), lettuce aphid (Nr: 0), Fusarium wilt (Fol: 1), and Mirafiori lettuce big-vein virus. The variety exhibits tolerance to bolting, tipburn, as well as to the effects of heat and humidity.
The variety is intended for cultivation in open field with a recommended planting density of about 40 000 plants per hectare. The produce is suitable for sale on the fresh market and for industrial processing; the head structure allows for the use of mechanized packaging in trays and boxes.
