The plant belongs to the Iceberg type and forms uniform heads of good shape and weight with a medium or large overall plant size. The variety is characterized by slow bolting, which ensures resistance to bolting during spring and autumn cultivation periods.
Possesses high resistance to downy mildew races Bl:29-37, 39-41EU, Fusarium wilt race Fol:4, and currant-lettuce aphid race Nr:0. The variety is also resistant to the development of tip burn.
Intended for open field cultivation and sale in the fresh market, including the possibility of pre-packaging. In breeding catalogs, it is also known by the number 45-IC1743 RZ.
