The variety forms a beautiful, uniform rosette and possesses a crunchy leaf texture that retains its qualities upon contact with hot ingredients or sauces. The crop is versatile and suitable for both hydroponic cultivation and open field cultivation.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew races Bl:16-32, 34EU and resistance to lettuce mosaic virus race 1. The variety is also classified as Batavia type in studies concerning hygiene and Fusarium wilt control.
