Zarate RZ forms a dense light green head. Thanks to Knox technology, the plant is distinguished by delayed oxidation at the cuts, which prevents the appearance of brown color on the leaves and extends the shelf life of the produce.

The variety is adapted to warm conditions and is suitable for high-density planting. It possesses high resistance to Bremia lactucae (Bl: 29–37, 39–41EU), Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lactucae (Fol: 1) and Nasonovia ribisnigri (Nr: 0), as well as intermediate resistance to Fol: 4.

Intended both for sale as whole heads and for processing in pre-cut form, ensuring a high yield of usable leaves.
