Variety #18LI, known as Black Diamond Purely Purple, is a deciduous shrub with an upright habit. At maturity, the plant reaches a height of approximately 2.5 meters and a width of up to 2 meters.

Distinctive features of the variety are its dark foliage with a silvery sheen and bright purple panicle inflorescences. Flowering occurs during the summer period from July to September.

The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and leaf spot, as well as adaptability to drought conditions and heat. Cold hardiness is rated down to -18°C.

The crop is used in landscape design for solitary plantings, creating hedges, and container cultivation. The compact shape of the bush does not require complex pruning.
