The plant reaches 50–70 cm in height and 60–70 cm in width, forming dense clumps with lush green foliage. The characteristic heart-shaped flowers of bright red color are situated on gracefully arched flower stalks.

Flowering occurs in the spring period, from April to May. The variety possesses a strong root system, is shade-tolerant, and prefers fresh, humus-rich, well-drained soils. The plant is characterized as low-maintenance and resistant to deer damage.
