The shrub is compact, spherical or mound-shaped, reaching 90 cm in height and up to 90–120 cm in width. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate, gray-green with a cream-yellow margin and serrated edges. Inflorescences are spicate, light blue or violet-blue in color; flowering occurs in summer.
The variety is intended exclusively for decorative use in borders, hedges, or containers. The plant exhibits high resistance to heat, drought, and high humidity, however, it does not tolerate waterlogging. Winter hardiness is estimated as moderate; it withstands temperature drops down to -9…-10 °C.
