Variety description

The variety is an evergreen shrub with a compact or medium-sized crown, reaching 1.5 m in height and width. Flowering occurs from winter to spring; the inflorescences are bright crimson or deep red in color.

The plant is relatively drought-tolerant and possesses slight frost resistance. It is well adapted to temperate and coastal climate conditions. The shrub requires well-drained acidic soils with a low pH level and is sensitive to phosphorus content.

It is used in landscape design for creating hedges and container gardening, and is also applied in floristry due to the longevity of the cut inflorescences.
