Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Leucospermum cordifolium × Leucospermum glabrum. The plant forms a rounded shrub 1 to 2 meters in height, with a width approximately equal to its height. The foliage is leathery, grey-green in hue, with a spiral leaf arrangement.
The inflorescences range in color from orange to deep red-orange and are distinguished by a long vase life. The flowering period occurs in spring and early summer.
The plant is drought-tolerant, withstands light frosts and coastal conditions with winds and saline soils. Cultivation requires well-drained acidic soils and abundant sunlight; the variety is sensitive to phosphorus fertilizers.
