The variety belongs to Asiatic hybrids and was used as an object of professional floriculture. The plant possesses upward-facing flowers, which simplified the processes of cutting, sorting, and transportation.

During studies on agronomic techniques, the variety was noted as susceptible to grey mold (Botrytis). There is data on the use of the variety as a parent form in the breeding of new hybrids.

In the international lily register, other forms may be listed under the name «Aristo», in particular a variety bred by A. Balode, which differs in flower coloration.
