The Avalonia lily variety belongs to the Oriental hybrid group. The flowers have a rich dark purple-red color with a lighter purple margin, spots, and papillae; the flower diameter is 20–25 cm. The leaves are lanceolate, dark green in color. The average plant height is 115 cm, ranging from 50 to 150 cm depending on growing conditions.

The variety is intended for use as a cut flower crop with a vegetation period of about 95 days. Depending on the size of the bulb, 2–4 to 8 or more buds are formed on one peduncle. The plant may be sensitive to leaf scorch.
