The Axl lily variety belongs to the I(a/b-c) group of Asian hybrids. The inner part of the petals has a saturated orange-red color, and the flower throat is colored in a bright orange shade.

The outer side of the petals is characterized by an intense orange-red coloration, with the petal edges highlighted by a darker shade.
