The variety «Bacardi» belongs to the group of Oriental hybrids. The flowers have a diameter of 15–22 cm and possess a deep dark red or purple-pink color with a contrasting yellowish-green star in the center. The petals are satin-like, with wavy edges and slightly curled tips. The plant has a strong sweet fragrance.

The height of the lily reaches 100–120 cm. The stem is strong, fleshy, resistant to lodging, and the leaves are dark green and oblong. Flowering occurs in mid-summer and August; the forcing period in protected cultivation is about 110 days.

The plant has frost resistance down to –30...–34 °C; in harsh climatic conditions, it requires covering. The variety is intended for cultivation in landscape design and professional floral cut flower production due to its long-lasting freshness in a vase.
