Bellville lily belongs to the group of OT-hybrids obtained by crossing Oriental and Trumpet lilies. The plant is tall, reaching a height of 115–170 cm. The flowers, 15–27 cm in diameter, have a tubular or wide-cup shape and possess a delicate fragrance.

The petals are bright yellow, with papillae and faint stripes potentially present in the center. The inflorescence typically includes 4–6 buds directed upwards or sideways. Flowering occurs in July–August. The variety is suitable for cut flowers, as well as group and individual plantings in landscape design.

The plant possesses winter hardiness and is capable of overwintering in the ground given well-drained soil. The variety requires protection from strong winds and regular watering, as it is sensitive to soil drying out during hot periods.
