The variety belongs to the I(a/-) Asian hybrid group. The inner side of the petals is deep purple-pink (58D). The outer side of the petals is colored in a moderately light purple-pink shade (62B/C), which transitions to a saturated purple-red color (59D) along the edges.

The variety is intended for use in ornamental horticulture. Breeding work for this variety began in 1982.
