The Braga variety was obtained by crossing seedlings 92-35 and RF 94-1. In the international RHS Lily Register classification, it belongs to the group of LA-hybrids and is designated as VII(a-b/c).

The plant has stems 110–120 cm in height and red-colored flowers. The variety is used for floral production; bulbs are available in a wide size range from 12/14 to 20/22.
