The variety Champion Diamond, also known as Champagne Diamond, belongs to the LA-hybrid group. The plant reaches a height of 100–110 cm. The flowers, with a diameter of 15–20 cm, are cup-shaped with a yellow-green throat and orange-brown anthers, gathered in inflorescences of 2–9 units.
Flowering of the variety occurs from mid-June to July. The lily is intended for cultivation in open field and is suitable for overwintering without digging up the bulbs. The variety possesses a pronounced sweet fragrance and is widely used for commercial purposes, including in micropropagation studies.
