The variety belongs to the group of Asiatic hybrids. The flowers are double, 10–20 cm in diameter, and have a red-burgundy color with dark speckles, a yellowish-white throat, and possible yellow or orange streaks on the petal tips. A feature is the absence of stamens and pollen, which prolongs the flowering period.

The plant reaches a height of 80–130 cm and blooms from June to August. The variety is winter-hardy (climate zone 4, down to -30°C) and resistant to diseases and pests. It is intended for garden plantings and cut flowers. It does not tolerate heavy clay soils and water stagnation well; staking is recommended for tall specimens.
