The classic variety is described as an Oriental hybrid with very large pure white flowers. Modern catalogs also feature the double form «Roselily Dejima», which possesses white flowers with wavy petals and is characterized by the absence of stamens and pollen.

Plants have dark green lanceolate leaves and erect or slightly inclined inflorescences. The varieties are intended for garden cultivation and use as cut flowers; specific data on agronomic characteristics or disease resistance are absent in the publications.
