The variety belongs to the group of Asiatic hybrids. Inside the flower, the color is classified as bright red-orange with a darker, red-oriental central vein on the tepals and petal tips. Outside, the flower color is also defined as bright red-orange. In production manuals, the variety is mentioned as having dark orange flowers with black spots.

This variety has been used in technical trials, including those based on UPOV guidelines, as a reference sample. The crop is traditionally used both in garden landscaping and in industrial floriculture for cut flower production.
