The lily variety Excalibur belongs to the LA-hybrid group (Longiflorum x Asiatic). The flowers have a primary orange color, corresponding to shade N25B with more saturated areas of tone 24A.

On the surface of the petals there are sparse pale-red speckles. Papillae, which are outgrowths on the petals, are absent in this variety.
