The variety belongs to the group of LA-hybrids. Plant height ranges from 110 to 150 cm. Foliage is dark green, lanceolate. Flowers are upward-facing, wide-open in shape, reaching a diameter of 15 to 20 cm. Flower coloration is intense, dark purple-red; the throat may feature dark speckles, and the nectaries are yellow-green with a crimson tint. The variety is weakly fragrant or has no pronounced scent.

Flowering usually occurs in July-August; the period from planting to flowering is 80–90 days. The plant possesses high resistance to diseases and lodging due to its strong and fleshy stems. The variety is frost-hardy, belongs to winter hardiness zone 4, and withstands temperatures down to -29...-34 °C.
