The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Lilium longiflorum and Lilium pardalinum using embryo breeding methods. Plant height ranges from 60 to 120 cm. The stems are strong and do not require staking.

Flowers are turban-shaped, nodding, with a diameter of 5 to 18 cm. The petals are red-orange or scarlet-crimson in color with a yellow center and dark spots, and possess a light fragrance. Flowering occurs in the summer period from June to August.

The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness (zones 4–5) and prefers fertile, well-drained soils in sunny locations with shading for the root system. When planted in the spring, flowering may not occur in the first year due to the adaptation characteristics of the hybrid.
