Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of Asiatic hybrids. The flowers are cup-shaped, upward-facing, and have a diameter of 12–15 cm. The coloration is rich bicolor: bright yellow petals with a contrasting red-brown or burgundy center. The fragrance is weak or absent.

The plant reaches a height of 90–120 cm, and up to 130 cm under favorable conditions. The stem is upright, strong, often covered with dark markings, and densely leafy. Flowering is early-mid season, usually occurring in July.

The variety is winter hardy, withstands frosts down to -34...-35 °C (USDA zone 4), and has good disease resistance. When grown in areas unprotected from wind or on overly fertilized soil, stems may require support due to a tendency to lodging. Suitable for landscaping and cut flowers.
