The variety belongs to the group of Asiatic hybrids and is often found in commercial catalogs under the trade name «America» (or «Amerika»).

The plant reaches a height of 60–80 cm. The flowers are of medium size, with colors ranging from grayish-purple to dark red. This lily lacks fragrance.

The variety is used in ornamental gardening for flower beds and container planting, and is also suitable for cut flowers. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained soil.
