The lily variety Holland Beauty is an OT-hybrid (Oriental hybrid × Trumpet hybrid). The flowers are large, 20–30 cm in diameter, and have a wide cup-shaped or funnel-shaped form. The petals are raspberry or dark raspberry in color with a cream or buttery margin, wavy, with light spotting.

The plant has a strong, often "tree-like" erect stem 95 to 250 cm in height. A single inflorescence can form up to 30 buds; the flowering period occurs in July–August. The variety is winter-hardy (USDA zone 4, down to -35°C), resistant to fungal diseases, and suitable for cut flowers.
