The variety Lionheart belongs to the Asiatic hybrid group, Tango subgroup. The star-shaped flowers reach 15–17 cm in diameter. The petal coloration is contrasting: the center is purple-black, the edges are bright yellow, and dark spotting is distributed across the entire surface.

The plant height is from 90 to 120 cm, the stem is strong and green. The variety blooms in June–July and is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases. It is intended for decorative landscaping and cut flowers.

The plant prefers sunny or slightly shaded areas with well-drained, neutral or slightly acidic soil. It does not tolerate water stagnation in the soil.
