The lily variety Marengo belongs to the OT-hybrid group. The flowers have dense petals with a satin texture and pointed tips; their color ranges from a deep violet-pink to a purple-red shade. On a single stem 130–140 cm tall, 3 to 7 buds can form.
The plant has a distinct sweet fragrance. The variety is not double-flowered and is intended primarily for use in cut flower production and decorative landscaping. The forcing period is approximately 100–110 days.
