The variety belongs to the Oriental hybrid group. The main color of the inner side of the petals varies from bright purple-red to deep purple-pink. At the base and tips, the petals have a paler shade, and the coloration lightens almost to white at the edges. There are yellow-green veins at the base of the petals.

Spots and papillae are present on the surface of the Pink Sparkles petals. Information on economic and biological traits, including disease resistance, plant height, and maturity group, is not disclosed, and the origin of the variety and its parental forms are classified information.
