The variety belongs to the Asiatic hybrids, subgroup I(a). It was obtained by breeders K. Mynett and A. Wilkońska as a result of crossing 'Cinnabar' and Coronado Group.

Under collection conditions in Skierniewice, the variety is characterized as mid-early, flowering 2–3 weeks after the earliest varieties in the collection. The variety is included in the lists of genotypes maintained and studied at the Research Institute of Horticulture in Poland.
