The variety is an LA-hybrid obtained by crossing the variety Amarone and the seedling LA 93012-IT. The flowers have a deep purple-red petal color with darker edges and a yellow-green tone at the nectaries; spots and papillae are absent. The throat is colored a deep purple-pink shade.

Plant height reaches 110 cm. The variety possesses strong stems typical for the LA-hybrid group. Depending on bulb size, the plant is capable of forming five or more buds, making it suitable for both commercial cultivation for cut flowers and for use in gardens and parks.
