Variety description

The variety belongs to the Asiatic hybrid group of the Tiny series. The plant is compact, reaches 35–50 cm in height, and is covered with dark green foliage. Sturdy stems bear large flowers 13–16 cm in diameter, oriented upwards.

The petal coloration is bicolor: the center of the flower is dark burgundy or almost black, transitioning to a pink or salmon-pink shade towards the edges. The variety lacks fragrance.

The plant is intended for pot culture, and is also suitable for planting in open ground in the foreground of borders or in rock gardens. The variety is early-flowering, characterized by high winter hardiness and suitability for greenhouse forcing.
