The plant forms erect, densely branching flower stalks 50 to 60 cm tall. In temperate climates, it is cultivated as an annual crop. Flowering is abundant and prolonged, covering the period from July until the first frosts.

The flowers are pink. The variety is intended for use in fresh bouquets and for creating dry arrangements, as the inflorescences retain their color for a long time after drying. The crop is photophilous, prefers light, well-drained soils, and does not tolerate waterlogging.
