The plant is an annual crop with a bush height of 30 to 50 cm. The variety features early and uniform flowering, forming dense inflorescences about 6.7 cm long and about 2.8 cm wide.

The flowers have a dark blue or blue-violet shade, often with a characteristic white eye. The variety is traditionally used for winter floral arrangements and cutting.
