The variety Misty Blue is a hybrid of Limonium latifolium and L. bellidifolium. The plant forms inflorescences with small purple-blue-violet flowers. The inflorescences start from the middle of the stem and are located on branching arched peduncles, which gives the plant a voluminous and airy appearance.

Peduncle height varies from 70 to 140 cm. The variety is valued for stem quality and the ability for abundant flowering, while the flowers do not have a pronounced fragrance. It is propagated exclusively by vegetative means.

The plant is widely used in floristry as a filler for floral arrangements. Misty Blue is used both in fresh form and as a dried flower.
