The oilseed flax variety Kivika is intended for cultivation primarily in the Steppe zone. Under experimental conditions, seed yield was approximately 1.23 t/ha with direct combining, and the thousand kernel weight ranged from 5.1 to 5.2 g.

The plant possesses resistance to diseases. Biochemical analysis of the oil shows a high alpha-linolenic acid content, amounting to approximately 50.3% of the total fatty acid composition. The variety is also considered as potential raw material for the creation of functional food products.
