Variety description

The plant forms a bush 25–35 cm wide with drooping shoots up to 50 cm long. Small green lanceolate leaves serve as a dense background for numerous flowers of a saturated blue or azure shade.

The flowering period lasts from May to September. The variety is heat-loving; in temperate climates, it is cultivated as an annual. It prefers fertile, moist, and well-drained soils and tolerates partial shade well.

To stimulate repeat flowering, light pruning or pinching is recommended in mid-summer. The plant is intended for landscaping balconies and terraces and is suitable for use in hanging baskets and containers.
