The Vivaro variety is characterized as intermediate in maturity, ripening somewhat later than average for annual ryegrass. This feature allows for flexible scheduling of hay and silage harvesting, reducing peak workloads.

The plant possesses high yield, including in summer cuts, provided there is sufficient moisture. The variety shows good resistance to rust, which contributes to the preservation of forage mass quality and regrowth capacity during the summer period.
